The tropical Cyclone - Fiji, February to March 1931 plus a fine collection of real photo postcards and photographs of Fiji, mainly 1910s-30s, from the estate of a long-term resident who witnessed the tropical cyclone of February 16 to March 3, 1931, during which 225 lives were lost, resulting in the deadliest natural disaster in recorded Fijian history. Thomas Delany Stole Michael Fenton's Trousers, at the court of quarter Sessions at new Norfolk, van Diemen's land on 12th January 1852, Delany was found guilty of stealing his employer's trousers, other clothing items and some tobacco. He was sentenced to 12 months hard labour and this vellum record of the court proceedings and verdict is signed by Valentine Fleming, in his capacity as Attorney-General of van Diemen's land; overall 21.5 x 39 cm.
