A pair of Victorian Staffordshire dogs with children, circa 1850, the press moulded pair of white seated dogs raised on oval grapevine decorated bases, with girl and boy children upon their backs each with doves upon their shoulders, the glaze with some blue pooling and gilded highlights now faded to mauve, the dogs' muzzles well delineated in iron red, salmon and black colours. Height 25 cm.
