A Imari patterned creamer in the manner of Coalport, circa 1805, with rubbed marks, but pattern identified as 'Japan', the tapering oval creamer of classical design with an elegant pointed looping handle decorated with stylised floral designs within compartments in the typical cobalt and iron red palette with lavish gilding and touches of pink, a single small green bird tucked into the foliage; partial pattern number in puce underside. Height 14.5 cm.
