Silver Melbourne Royal show prize cup by Tilbury and Lewis, with double griffin handles and laurel band, bearing the inscription: 'The Australasian Jersey Herd Society/ Victorian Branch/ For Champion Jersey Bull/ Exhibited At/ Melbourne Royal Show'. Marks: Stg silver to rim, Tand L/ Stg Sil under base. Height 19 cm; weight: 735grams. Provenance: Private Collection. Notes: Tilbury and Lewis appears to have been established around 1917, the Jersey society existed since at least 1913
