A very fine and large Chinese gilt bronze figure of Avalokiteshvara, late Ming, 16/17th century, seated in vajrasana, on a circular lotus issuing from a hexagonal pedestal base, with elaborate robes and Crown, holding an ambrosia vase and willow branch, the Crown with an image of Amitabha at the front.
