A Russian niello silver cigarette box Assay master Ar, makers mark Fy, Moscow, circa 1885, the rectangular cushion shaped box features a niello winters scene to the front of a horse drawn sled with passengers aboard and verso a repeated foliate motif in the round, stamped internally, 110 grs. Total silver weight, 9 cm wide. Note: the assay master and makers marks stated, are here transposed from the actual Cryillic letters stamped.
