A late Victorian sterling silver tea caddy, maker's mark Deakin and Francis Ltd, Birmingham circa 1897, the cubic body edged in roped borders and with cushioned shoulder displays a repeat figurative repousse motif of angels to each side, the top terminating in a short tubular neck with fitted lid, hallmarked to base and collar, 244 grs. Total weight of silver, 12.5 cm high.
