A South Indian bronze of Balakrishna standing, South India, 15th century, the fine bronze depicting Krishna with, the left foot on a tiered lotus pedestal, the right foot on a lotus flower, the left arm raised in gaja mudra and holding a butterball in, the right hand, with elaborate and finely cast armlets, anklets, necklace and waist band, the face with aquiline nose and wide eyes and fine dark-chocolate patina.
