An impressive French Napoleon III Meuble d'Appui buffet, lavishly inlaid with brass, ivory and mother of pearl swags, birds, snakes, potted plants etc, variegated red marble top, bronze framing, reeded column to each side, the interior with birds eye maple lined shelves, the maple to the back of the door has gilded brass button detail, raised on plinth base with toupie feet, ebonised finish. 117 x 46 x 117 cm.
