Anglo-Moorish oak pearwood & ebony sideboard, c1875, design by Robert Davey. Raised back with a shelf supported by two columns, the base with a central frieze drawer above paired columns & an under tier, inlaid throughout with bands of stylised Islamic ornament, in pearwood with ebony borders, height 150 cm, width 151 cm, depth 64 cm. Provenance: The Fine Art Society, New Bond Street, London. Estate late John Schaeffer.
