A large Chinese Longquan celadon censer, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), circa 15th century, of bombe form on three legs, with incised lattice decoration to the sides, covered in a pleasant sea-green glaze. Together with an old hardwood stand and lid surmounted by a carved soapstone finial decorated with lingzhi fungus. The censer 15 cm high, 32.5 cm diameter. With hardwood stand and lid 39 cm high, 33 cm diameter.
