A rare Chinese Yueyao covered bowl, Warring States period (475-221BC), the bowl with slightly flared vertical walls, with incised spiral decoration to the interior. The lid of domed form, with a rope-twist-decorated handle. The whole covered in a pale olive-green glaze. 8 cm high, 10.5 cm diameter. Provenance: old Japanese collection.
