A rhinoceros horn 'lotus' libation cup, Qing dynasty, 19th century, the steeply flared bowl in the form of an open lotus leaf, carved on the exterior in deep and pierced relief with stems bearing a large lotus flower, a pod and further leaves and buds rising up the sides, beside two slender stems bearing leaves and grain extending over the rim and forming the handle, 18 cm high
