A Prince Charles ' Investiture' chair designed by Lord Snowdon for the investiture of Prince Charles in 1969, when he was crowned Prince of Wales. Painted timber, upholstered base, the back impressed and then glided with the Prince of Wales feather. On the base, a label, 'Ex Libris, William Heseltine' with family heraldic coat of arms. In excellent condition, Foam padding has degraded, upholstery excellent. Made for the ceremony by the Remploy manufactory of Bridgend rugs
