Anneke Borren and Owen Mapp black glazed pot with lid as a carved bone pendant, 1986. 'I said 'Isn't it a pity one always puts one's jewellery away in a box. Why don't we make the pendant as a lid, with the cord inside it'. Diameter 15.5 cm (pendant diameter 5.7 cm). Mapp, one of New Zealand's premier carvers and partner of Borren for two decades turned and carved the bone pendant that forms the lid for this vessel.
