Four relics, including air frame parts and motor Casting from Lancaster Ed 925 Crash Site, 17/5/1943, shot down over the Mohne Dam, pilot was F/L Hopgood. P/O J.W.Fraser Rcaf and P/O Burcher RAAF managed to back out at low level, 2 of 3 aircrew to becom POWs on the Dams raid. Sgt. J.W. Submarine Spitfire N3173 152 squadron relics recovered from Crash Site, aircraft was shot down in combat on the 25th September 1940 whilst engaging enemy bombers over Somerset. The Pilot Kenneth Christopher Holland was only 20 years old. He was the youngest Australian to die in the Battle of Britain

Recovered parts from the Lancaster W4929. 1661 heavy conversion unit, Winthorpe. Crashed in the Brecon Beacons, south Wales, Dived into the ground after flying into a storm at night, all eight crew were killer. One, the rear gunner, was Australian - flight Sgt Ernest M. Buckby of camp hill, Queensland. This Lancaster had been used extensively by 617 squadron in training for Dambusters raid. As it was a 'Standard' Lancaster, not converted to carry a bouncing bomb, it was not used in the raid.

Recovered Spitfire X4009, P8268 & NH695 parts, Crash Site Darks farm, Sessels green, Kent, F/L P.C. Hughes Kia (from the Monaro are, NSW) Collided with a Dornier 17, a small electrical data plate is included. Spitfire parts include Merlin engine valve and internal Ribbing piece X4009 was dug by a private collector in the 1970s. Recovered fragments from a Hurricane V7233, 87th squadron, Exeter, crashed 'The Fleer', near Portland, Dorset, P/O John Reynolds Cock (Renmark, South Australia) baled out into the sea and swam ashore. Shot down by a Messerschmit 109 flown by Helmut Wick, the top Luftwaffe ace of the Battle of Britain. John Cock was the first Aussie to shoot down a plane at night - a Heinkell III on 26/7/40. Dig was led by mastermind Stevev Vizard and Gareth Jones, September 2009.

A Hurricane V6748 & Hurricane HW187 relics recovered from separate Crash Sites, Hurricane V6748: 46 squadron, shot down in combat. Crashed Tablehurst farm, Forest row, Suzzex. P/O John Dallas Crossman Kia. A 'Surface' crash. A digging group used a Jcb digger on this site in 1980s, all that was found was approximately 1Kg of items found. Black plastic piece is a prop blade covering.
