The 'Butheroe' sideboard, Early Australian cedar six legged sideboard, Sydney, circa 1820, family history purports it was originally a wedding gift from Governor Lachlan Maquarie to John Nevell and Elizabeth Vincent, daughter of James Vincent (carpenter at Windsor). It was then moved by dray across the Blue Mountains to Kelso near Bathurst and then on to Butheroe a family property between Coolah and the Castlereagh River hence the name.
