Signed Martin Brothers tobacco jar with aquatic designs. The Martin Brothers factory was founded by Robert Wallace Martin (1843-1923). By the late 1860s the first workshop was opened, making terracotta sculptures. In 1873, a new pottery was opened with his brothers, Charles, Walter and Edwin Martin in Fulham.
