A rare William White 1920 Royal Doulton figure The Coquette wearing a blue dress is a major feature of Abbeys Auctions forthcoming special sale from 10am Saturday August 29 at 480-482a Station Street, Box Hill.

 

Examples of this extremely rare piece seldom appear on the auction market and are keenly sought after internationally by serious collectors.

It is listed in the monthly e-magazine Collectables Price Guide Monthly (HN20 The Coquette, blue) at US$7250.

This forthcoming collectables sale features a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-date 18-carat yellow gold watch with 10 diamonds and a vintage Rolex.

The auction also features porcelain and jade figures, a Victorian mahogany sewing table, burr walnut writing desk and sterling silver tea and coffee sets.
