Handcrafted silver, gold and tourmaline brooch and belt buckle by Diane Bapty, the brooch centrally set with a long rectangular cut green tourmaline weighing 2.79cts, two square cut pink tourmalines, mounted in silver and 18ct yellow gold, the silver belt buckle depicting two cherubs with gold wings and hair, set with green tourmalines cut en cabochon mounted below. Diane Bapty is a Melbourne artist jeweller who has been working for over thirty years. In 1969 she opened her own gallery in high St Armadale which operated for seventeen years. Her work has also been exhibited and sold in galleries around Australia and still continues to be today
