A Victorian black lacquer and mother-of-pearl inlaid tea caddy of rectangular form, the bowed top decorated with a central leaf and petal motif within a mother-of-pearl inlaid border interspersed with vacant cartouches, opening to an interior fitted with two lead lined apertures for tea, the ogee moulded front and sides with conforming inlaid foliate vignettes above a serpentine apron, gilt highlights, 20 x 13 x 16 cm
