A timber cased Japanese Satsuma tea set, Showa period, mid 20th century, comprising a carinate shaped compressed teapot with integral tripod feet, small spout, flat domed lid and a wrapped wicker handle, decorated with blossoms in red, plum and white enamel colours with gilt enrichments upon a wheaten crackle ground, with five tiny blossom decorated stem cups; signed to all.
