A late Victorian sterling silver pierced swing handled basket, 1898 Sheffield, with maker's mark for Thomas Bradbury & Sons, an elegant basket with an undulating ribbed rim with a wide bright cut border of delicate scrollwork and garlands between continuous pierced borders, the swollen handle of conforming design, and raised on an oval pierced base; hallmarked to body, silver weight 579gr height 11 cm.
