English hallmarked sterling silver George III kettle on a burner stand, having a side hinged dome lid, a swing handle decorated with flowers, with dolphins to each side & a cane woven insulation. The round body with later partially chased detail decorated heavily with floral detail & with a cartouche on each side monogrammed 'P', & with a bird head spout, all standing on a round collet foot. The burner stand pierced to the rim with cast foliate detail, standing on three dolphin & shell feet. London, 1777, maker Charles Wright. Condition: good to fair, minor tarnishing, losses to the cane, one foot uneven. Height to finial 33 cm. Weight 2497g
