A large Chinese famille verte plate, Kangxi period, 17th century, with foliate rim, the interior centre finely painted with two phoenix, a female standing on the rock, its mate flying over a tree, eight framed panels with landscapes, flowers and vases decoration on the cavetto between two bands of flower motifs, the exterior decorated with four flower branches, a square seal mark within a double ring mark to the base, 36 cm diameter
