A fine small second Empire Tulipwood and marquetry inlaid bureau plat in the Louis XV style, circa 1848-1870, with a serpentine profile, quarter veneer panelling and centred with a floral cartouche with wide strung cross banded borders and scrolling spandrels, a decorated shaped skirt with frieze drawer, cabriole legs, gilt bronze mounts and trims. Height 75 cm. Width 100 cm. Depth 62 cm
