A fine Empire style Karelian birch and walnut bedside table, early 20th century. the bow front marble topped table in contrasting dark and warm colours with ebony and blonde stringing, a full width drawer above a marble lined cupboard, the door with a bronze framed lozenge with a marquetry allegorical maiden with mother-of-pearl garlands, with ring pull handles and raised on tapering square section legs. Height 80 cm. Width 49 cm. Depth 42 cm
