A fine Victorian rococo revival Christening mug, 1853 London, with maker's mark for James Charles Edington, of ogee profile with a waisted foot and scrolling ear form handle, richly embossed and chased with flowers, shells and scale forms, an engraved cartouche to one side and a spaniel on a cushion and a parrot to the other; hallmarked to body. Silver weight 189gr. Height 10.5 cm
