c1910 Weene Edwardian Gentleman's Yacht. A history of Australian Yachts would certainly include a large chapter devoted to the boats built in Tasmania. With a then-plentiful supply of Huon Pine and good tradesmen, Tasmania enjoyed a longstanding and cherished reputation as the birthplace of many great boats. This delightful Edwardian vessel dates from 1910, and so is amongst the oldest surviving Tasmanian yachts.
