A Chinese brass censer with Xuande seal mark under the base, squat circular shape raised on three legs and with integral handles rising from the rim, all surfaces decoratively cast and engraved with sinuous dragons, clouds and other elements. Raised on a wooden carved lotus leaf plinth base. Provenance: Collected by the owner's parents while resident in Peking c.1900. Diameter 230, height 16 cm (excluding stand)
