A top quality Victorian burr walnut Davenport, the piano top curved hinge top flap enclosing a fitted interior with green tooled leather writing surface to the slide, fitted with pen receptacles, etc., two internal drawers, the back top with secret release for the pop-up section, fret carved scroll gallery and panels, hinging to reveal a fitted satinwood interior, the base with traditional four drawers to one side, panelled front, wrythen turned column supports with block detail and further scrolls to the base, raised on compressed ball feet, good rich colour and patina. 58 x 57 x 98 cm
