Six World War I medals: 1914-15 Star, British War and Victory Medal awarded to '8/2308A. Sjt. Burnett. N.Z.E.F.', two medals: World War I British War and Victory Medal awarded to '8/1420 Pte. D Burnett. N.Z.E.F.' and a British War Medal awarded to '23/86 Rflm. G. F. Burnett. Brothers George and David and of Christchurch. David was a Private and served with the Otago Regiment. He was killed in action at Chunuk Bair 9/8/1915. George, a rifleman with the N.Z. Rifle Bridgade was killed in action on 5/4/1918. Together with a trio of medals for Sergeant J. Burnett, possibly another brother but without any paperwork to confirm. All with ribbons apart from Star medal
