A World War I leather autograph album compiled by Dorothy Lowe, during her nursing days in Bournemouth and Poole during the war. Approx. 66 pages filled both sides with verse, drawings and paintings. With references to the Mont Dore Hospital (opened in 1914 for the Indian wounded, it became a British Military Hospital in 1915, and 1918 changed again to a convalescent home for officers from P.O.W. camps. Containing many autographs from members of the Westbourne Police Station, references to the sinking of the Lusitania & current songs with the lyrics changed. Back cover loose
