A Canadian World War I Trio awarded to Captain E. D. Ashcroft of the Royal Engineers (1914-15 Star to '2. Lieut. Ashcroft). World War I British War Medal and Victory Medal to Lieutenant L. E. Ashcroft of the 54th Battalion. Lancelot Edgar and Edward Davey Ashcroft of British Columbia. Two Canadian Memorial Crosses (no ribbons). (*Original Officers' Commission on cloth/parchment for Lt. Ashcroft, not found) Two Trophies to Lt. Ashcroft: '100 Yrd Dash. 1st Prize. 103 Batt C.E.F. April 24, 1916' and 'Military Tournament 103rd' Batt. C.E.F. Greatest Number of Points May 24,1916'. plus seven assorted sports medals to Lt or Capt. Ashcroft and a postcard home concerning the wins at the Military sports tournament.
