A c.1860 Australian painted cow's horn, school of Alexander Schramm, finely painted in oils with all-over themes including battling Aboriginal figures, kangaroo hunt, dogs, figures on horseback, etc., inscribed 'Lake Hindmarsh Tribe Waddy Figures', good old patina. Provenance: Collected from a deserted South Australian outback station in the early 1950s. Length 32.5 cm
