A Wedgwood fairyland lustre 'Gondola' lily tray designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones, circa 1918, the low bowl with everted lip and interior painted and printed with 'Fairy Gondola' pattern, depicting elves and fairies frolicking around a lily pond. the exterior decorated with gilt birds alternatively flying in opposite directions, to stippled blue and green ground, shape no. 2483, printed gilt Portland vase, WEDGWOOD, MADE IN ENGLAND, 33 cm diameter.
