A pair of 'famille-rose' coral-ground 'peony' bowls seal marks of Qianlong, each with steeply rounded sides, enamelled on the exterior with three yellow-ground panels of peony blooms issuing from leafy stems bordered by entwined leafy flowering stems, reserved on a bright coral coloured ground, the base inscribed in iron-red with a six-character seal mark, 12.8 cm diameter
