Us 1st cavalry uniform as Prepared by Brooks Brothers Ny with their label dated 1901, with name of 'A.M. Lawrence' & 'Squad. 9'. Several cavalry regiments were sent to the Philippines in this period, during the insurgency 1900-1905, with yellow stripes to grey wool pants, the inner pockets with the markings of 'Margan's fancy Costumes, Melbourne', the tunic with yellow braid & insignia removed (2)
