A John Crichton c.1965 mahogany table, steel and copper construction, the wedge form top with wide curved end comprising five solid mahogany planks, the two front legs of sculpted copper inspired by Pacific tribal art figures. Approx. 132 x 150 x 77 cm. Note: a similar example held in the Te Papa collection. Designed by Crichton as part of a suite of 8 identical tables for a revolving luau room in the Wilson House, Takapuna.
