Delage D8 15 series S coupe Chassis no.: 38248 engine no.:157 Reg no.: Prev. Vic. Reg. TIU-5271933 saw the introduction of the D8/15 to the Delage range of straight eight engines, with a bore and stroke of 75 x 75. 5 mm giving a capacity of 2668cc. This was an engine eager to rev especially with the four-sidedraught carburettor conversion, a popular modification at the time as fitted to this car in lieu of the standard single Smiths updraft type
