A Victorian mahogany gentleman's chair and footstool. Mid 19th century, having a waisted and trifid shape showframe with a carved crest, a buttoned back and open arms to scrolled side supports and foliate embellished knees, a serpentine seating rail above scroll and ball feet with casters, upholstered in peach velvet; and a rectangular footstool with turned tray style handles to the short ends.
