A sterling silver and tortoiseshell trinket box 1925 Birmingham, with maker's mark for Mappin & Webb. The circular box raised on three petite curvaceous legs, with simple concentric rib designs to the body, the slightly domed tortoiseshell lid delicately inlaid with a silver ribbon and floral tendrils, velvet lined and also underside; hallmarked to body and lid. Height 4.5 cm. Diameter 8.5 cm
