The baluster vases each with everted necks and small loop handles, in a typical iron red and gold palette upon cream, depicting songbirds in flight and perched in a flowering prunus branch, with peony blooms, a floral engraved gold border upon red to the base, collar and neck; character kutani and makers' marks underside.
