A boxed sterling silver butter dish and knife set 1896/7 London, with maker's mark of George Maudsley Jackson. Alow form straight sided dish, the outer rim embellished with a decorative triangle and arch pierced border, the butterknife with a tapering thread edge handle terminating in a husk motif, in the original silk and velvet presentation box; hallmarked to both. Silver weight 70gr height 2 cm. Diameter 9 cm. (dish)
