A fine French .950 silver table jardiniere, circa 1900, with maker's mark for Henri Soufflot. The rectangular jardiniere of compressed form with rounded ends finely repousse worked with a pierced foliate frieze draped with swags, a pair of engraved medallions below ribbon work, a stiff leaf border to the lower section and raised on hoof feet, with a removable metal liner; hallmarked underside. Silver weight 245gr height 9 cm. Length 22 cm. Width 10.5 cm
