A boulle mantle clock in the Louis XV style. Later 19th century, with maker's marks for Japy Freres. The waisted timber clock with gong having an enamel dial with Roman numerals and minute markings beneath a dome glass, the timber body with floral brass inlay to the scarlet veneer ground set within a cast rocaille mount with a florid crest.
