A covered sterling silver sugar bowl 1962/3 London, with maker's mark for Edward Barnard & Sons. Of circular bowl form with a low domed lid and bowl style finial surrounded by an applied spiral arrangement of leaves, with gadrooned rim, small beaded 'C' scroll handles and raised on a tiered foot rim with a cast border design; hallmarked to body and lid. Silver weight 346gr height 8.5 cm. Width 15 cm. Diameter 12 cm
