Mid 20th century Australia, with maker's pictorial mark (fleece) for Angus & Coote; mid 20th century Canada, with inscription for international sterling. A baluster shaped mug with a waisted neck, a 'C' style handle and pedestal foot, engraved 'Richard John' 1.7.48, hallmarked below rim; and an ogee profile mug with a strap handle and tapering foot rim, engraved 'Gnc', marked underside.
