A c.1770 pair of Griffin Dueling Pistols working 1730-1770 at his shop in Bond Street, London, these silver-mounted flintlock pistols are presented in a Japanese case. Bullet mould, powder flask, & cleaning brush are all original to the guns. Flints & Balls present in the case. Heavily embellished with engraving and carving to both the mount and timber, Monogram of original owner on the hilt engraved into the silver mount. Condition is pristine & fireable with no wear, case a later make but good match to the pair. L 34 cm, Barrel L 21 cm
