A German Army (Heer) Winter Rabit Fur Hat Army winter pelzmutze. This worn winter hat features front and side fold-down panels covered with plush light coloured rabbit fur. The hat's body is standard field gray wool is in excellent condition. The folding front and two side fur lined panels are secured at the crown by a single button. On the front fur panel is an aluminium eagle. The quilted grey cotton interior displays heavy use. The size is size stamped 56 with the other German markings having faded from use
